Face and Mane: The distinguishing features of a horse are its long face and the mane on its back.
Plate: An additional plate added on top of the horse, allows user to place their items and convey the Feng Shui meaning of having something immediately.

In Feng Shui practice, the horse used to enhance the luck of one’s career or study.
Origin
The horse is used to symbolize success in Chinese culture because of a commonly known idiom, which came from a Yuan Dynasty Zaju (a form of Chinese opera):
马到功成 (Ma Dao Gong Cheng): Achieve immediate victory
Chinese play with the pronunciation of words to create special meanings. By placing different objects on top of the horse, it is implying a meaning of achieving or getting something soon or immediately.
马上 (Ma Shang): on top (上) of the horse (马); immediately or soon.
