SAMSUNG TREATS

New retail experience for Samsung ovens

To provide a new retail experience with Samsung ovens, this project aims to focus on raising the awareness of oven among users.

 

The concept including Pop-up cafe, advertising with game and interaction machine, to encourage virality and raise awareness by break tradition & drive activity towards unsuspecting crowds, broader demographic.

Project Brief

Select one product category under the Samsung brand to improve the current retail experience.

Existing problems

Research and site visite was done to found the issues with existing retail experience with Samsung oven. Many people are unaware of the Samsung oven and its latest technology; the potential buyer preferred to have physical interaction with the product before purchasing. So how might we gain the awareness of Samsung oven?

Design Concept

With the insights from the online survey and interview, we look into three areas for our design solution: increase accessible of the Samsung ovens, create exciting and memorable design solutions to increase share-ability, provide an opportunity to engage with the physical oven. 

Final Design

With the aim to increase the awareness, we focus on improving the interaction between consumer and product to attract attention and encourage retention, gain brand preference and targeting a wide range of groups, use other Samsung technology to promote its ovens. As a result, we designed multiple interactions for both indoor and outdoor to promote Samsung ovens.

Samsung TREATS aims to bring a new retail experience to our potential buyers. Our design concept extends from the current in-store retail experience, engage the interaction between user and product to get the memory of the brand and thus increase awareness of Samsung ovens.
