Ji Jian Wu - Ma Shang is desiged to coveys the meaning of having something or achieve something immediately by placing different objects on top of the horse.

This coffee table is scale up from the "Ma Shang" (horse) in the Ji Jian Wu porcelain collection. With it, you are now achieving more goals by putting bigger and more objects on top of the horse.

This table made from solid maple wood, the plate, horse nose and mane is cover by 24k gold leaf.
Making Process
It takes about 40 hours to CNC from a solid block to the final design including setup time.
Sanding is required to produce a smooth and high finishing of the surface. Different grades of sandpaper used and the sanding process takes more than a week.
Coating with varnish provides a protective and non-yellowing finishing. This process requires spraying and air-dry of paints repeatedly to result in a smooth and clean surface.
The final step is the gold leafing. The gold leaf used is 24k gold leaf; this process requires patience and carefulness.
